The following is the Cookie Policy (hereinafter, "cookie policy" or "policy") that governs the website www.mediktor.com and the MyMediktor application (hereinafter, jointly referred to as, "the Platform") under the ownership of TECKEL MEDICAL, S.L (hereinafter, "TM" or "we"), a Spanish company with a registered office at calle Sant Antoni Maria Claret 167, 08025, Barcelona (Spain), registered in the Mercantile Register of Barcelona in Volume 46.461, Page 190, Page B-413.671, and with Tax Identification Number (N.I.F.) B-65.642.019.

The purpose of this Cookie Policy is to help you understand how we use cookies on the Platform, the types of cookies we use, their purpose and duration, and the options you have to configure, manage or reject them.

WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are small files or devices that are downloaded and stored in the terminal (i.e. the device from which the Platform is accessed: computer, mobile phone, tablet or any other connected device...) and allow the Platform to remember information about the visit.

In general, there are different types of cookies:

• Depending on the entity that manages the equipment or domain from which the cookies are sent and processes the data obtained, we may distinguish:  

- Our own cookies: These are cookies sent to the user's terminal from a computer or domain managed by the Editor of the Platform, in this case the one from which the service requested by the user is provided.

- Third party cookies: These are those sent to the user's terminal from a computer or domain not managed by the Platform Publisher, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies. If the cookies are installed from a computer or domain managed by TM, but the information collected through them is managed by a third party, they cannot be considered as TM's own cookies. In this regard, TM may contract the services of analysis and measurement companies that measure and/or analyse the browsing behaviour of users on the Platform and, in this regard, act on its behalf by analysing the data obtained from the use of cookies by these third parties, all with the sole aim of improving the service provided by TM.

• Depending on the purpose for which the data obtained through cookies is processed, we can distinguish between:

- Technical cookies: These are those that allow the user to browse the Platform and use the various options or services it offers, such as controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session, accessing restricted information, remembering the elements that make up an application, requesting registration or participation in an event, using security elements during browsing, storing content for broadcasting video or sound or sharing content through social networks. 

- Functional or personalisation cookies: These cookies allow the user to access the Service with certain predefined general characteristics depending on a series of criteria in the user's terminal, such as the language, the type of browser used to access the Service or the regional configuration from which the Service is accessed, among others.

- Analysis cookies: These cookies allow the party responsible to monitor and analyse the behaviour of the users of the websites to which they are linked. The information collected through this type of cookie is used to measure activity on the Platform and to create browsing profiles of the users of these sites, applications and platforms in order to introduce improvements based on the analysis of data on the use of the Service by users.

- Advertising cookies: These are those that allow the most effective management of the advertising spaces that the publisher may have included on a website, application or platform from which the requested service is provided, based on criteria such as the edited content or the frequency with which the advertisements are displayed.

- Behavioural advertising cookies: These cookies allow the most effective management of the advertising spaces that the publisher may have included in a website, application or platform from which the requested service is provided. These cookies store information about the user's behaviour, obtained by continuously monitoring their browsing habits, in order to create a specific profile and display advertising based on it. 

• Depending on the length of time that they remain activated in the terminal equipment (temporality), we are able to distinguish between them:

- Session cookies: Cookies used to collect and store data while the user is accessing the platform. Session cookies allow a website to recognise the user.

- Persistent cookies: Cookies in which the data remain stored in the terminal and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the party responsible for the cookie, which can range from a few minutes to several years. 

2. WHAT COOKIES DOES THIS PLATFORM USE?

Some of the cookies used are necessary for browsing the Platform and do not require the user's consent, others do not affect the functionality of the Platform and the user can accept, configure or reject them as indicated in section "3. Management and configuration of cookies".

By using this platform and by accepting the cookie notice, the user consents and agrees that we may host these cookies on their terminal for the purposes indicated above. In accordance with the guidelines of the AEPD, the cookies used on this platform and their characteristics are described below.
