GVM Assistance and Mediktor Partner Up to Revolutionize Healthcare in Italy with the use of Artificial Intelligence
30. März 2023
MILAN, ITALY – GVM Assistance, part of GVM Care & Research Group, leader in the healthcare sector in Italy, and Mediktor, the most advanced artificial intelligence-based medical assistant for triage and pre-diagnosis, are pleased to announce a new partnership on the Italian market.

The partnership will see Mediktor integrated into GVM Assistance’s APP for telemedicine and video consultation and connected to the medical operations center platform.
Patients will be able to report their symptoms online before starting a video consultation with a physician, and Mediktor’s artificial intelligence will generate a triage and pre-diagnosis report available to physicians for diagnosis support.
With a healthcare network of more than 50 facilities and a presence in 5 countries, GVM Care & Research is investing in artificial intelligence-based innovation through GVM Assistance, its division dedicated to innovative digital health services.
Mediktor’s sophisticated technology combines machine learning and advanced natural language processing (NLP), offering a user-friendly interface where users can report their symptoms in their own words.
Upon completion of the symptom evaluation, the AI-based medical algorithm of Mediktor generates a report with a triage and pre-diagnosis to be shared with the physician.
Mediktor’s integration into GVM Assistance App was customized according to GVM’s medical experience in order to maximize the usability for physicians’ support and, on the other hand, to facilitate remote patient navigation. This collaboration confirms GVM’s focus on patient needs, quality of services, and the value of the doctor-patient relationship.
“Mediktor is excited to be part of GVM Assistance’s cutting-edge telemedicine platform,” said Cristian Pascual, CEO of Mediktor. “Our AI technology will allow physicians to receive rapid and accurate health assessments. This partnership is completely aligned with our company’s values and goals: to provide ever better access to healthcare for all, both professionals and patients”.
“This new partnership,” said Andrea Masina, CEO of GVMA, “is set to facilitate rapid and direct access to high-quality medical services, leveraging the artificial intelligence-based technology to support a more accessible healthcare response for everyone across all EU countries. In fact, in addition to the growth in Italy with the creation of a new headquarters of the operations center in Imola, we are already implementing the offer of digital services in the countries where our foreign subsidiaries operate, especially in Poland, where telemedicine is in high demand.”
