Mediktor Introduces New Feature for Users with Physical Disabilities

26 يونيو 2023

Mediktor just launched a new functionality of the medical chatbot in which patients with physical disabilities can assess their symptoms and receive personalized questions according to their particular case. The goal is to emulate a conversation with a doctor and overcome any common obstacles that may arise during a virtual consultation.

Mediktor’s AI-based medical assistant empowers patients to assess their symptoms and receive targeted care guidance within three minutes. By providing personalized recommendations and directing individuals to the appropriate care pathway at the onset of symptoms, Mediktor aims to enhance the overall healthcare experience. The AI model adapts to each person’s unique case to ensure inclusivity and overcome common access barriers.

In order to meet the needs of every patient, constant enhancements in user experience are mandatory. This is why Mediktor has been working on launching new features to adapt the evaluation to people with disabilities as part of an extended goal of augmenting Mediktor’s accessibility to every user. The AI medical chatbot recently incorporated a functionality for people with sensory disabilities, now adding one for physical limitations.

This new feature allows users online with physical disabilities to experience a more tailored assessment. Users can access this functionality whether by adding information about the specific physical limitation to their Mediktor profile or simply mentioning it during the medical chatbot assessment. From the moment the user communicates their disability, Mediktor’s AI will instantaneously block unnecessary questions and make more specific ones for each case to better understand the personal case of every patient and provide the most appropriate pre-diagnosis and recommendations.

Now, besides leveraging Mediktor at the onset of symptoms without dealing with infrastructure and transport barriers, people with impairments affecting their individual physical functioning, mobility, or coordination can experience a more inclusive AI symptoms assessment. The AI-based medical assistant will soon integrate features for people with intellectual disabilities. These incorporations reinforce Mediktor’s ethical commitment toward a more accessible entry to care for all.
