Mediktor at the BHH Summit 2022

On October 26, the BHH Summit 2022, organized by the Barcelona Health Hub, took place in the Sant Pau Modernist complex, where the main players in the health sector met to solve real Challenges in Healthcare.

Celia Rosalén, Mediktors Europe Business Development Director participated in the “Conquering Challenges in Pharma” panel, where, together with Boehringer Ingelheim, Scilife and Grifols, they shared the different digital health strategies and analyzed the challenges that the pharmaceutical sector faces during  the Digital Transformation process in the health and pharmaceutical sectors.

The Pharmaceutical sector is increasingly embracing digital transformation to be aligned with patient digital habits and needs. “Patients want to be part of their healthcare decisions and they expect more support from healthcare services and pharma companies. Mediktor wants to be part of this change.”  – Explained Celia Rosalén.

One of the most concerning challenges that was raised during this panel was that the regulatory framework is not prepared (Is to be improved)  to ensure competitiveness for the future and innovation of Digital Health in Europe. “How can we better operate under these rules?”
