Of these companies, 65% (271 in total) already incorporate artificial intelligence into their products or services, representing a 23.5 percentage point increase compared with the previous year. Catalonia already has 184 AI-powered tools implemented across 86 healthcare organisations, with particularly strong adoption in radiology, oncology and primary care. Digital triage and remote care are gaining traction at an accelerated pace. In primary care, 39% of consultations are now conducted remotely. In mental health, the figure stands at 30.8%. Telephone and digital consultation models are now firmly established, and demand for tools that help guide patients before they enter the healthcare system is greater than ever.

Predictive, preventive and personalised medicine is emerging as the next major frontier: using clinical data not simply to treat illness, but to anticipate it.
